A cabin can be booked by email or by telephone.
The booking is regarded as being confirmed once the customer has paid the advance payment (deposit) by the due date.
The deposit is 30% of the total hire for the cabin.
The remaining payment for the booking shall be made approximately two (2) months prior to the commencement of the trip, unless otherwise agreed.
If the deposit is not paid by the due date, the booking of the cabin will be regarded as being cancelled. The booking of the cabin can also be paid as a single payment in full,
in which case no separate deposit will be charged. In this case, the booking is regarded as being confirmed when the customer has paid for the entire booking.
Cabin cancellation must be done either by calling tel. +358 50 369 6340 or by sending an email to hykkilan.huvilat@surffi.net.
If the reason for the cancellation is sudden illness or similar prior to the commencement of the trip,
the booking sum will be reimbursed in full. If the booking is cancelled with at least one (1) week prior to the commencement of
the trip, the customer will be reimbursed 70% of the booking sum. If a booking is cancelled with less than one (1)
week prior to the commencement of the trip, no payments made by the customer will be reimbursed.
In cases of force majeure, Hykkilän Huvilat is entitled to cancel the booking for reasons of e.g. fire, natural disaster,
actions by authorities, or for any other unpredictable event that is beyond the control of Hykkilän Huvilat.
In cases of force majeure, the customer’s payment(s) will be reimbursed in full. Hykkilän Huvilat will immediately inform the customer if the booking has to be cancelled.
Hykkilän Huvilat reserves the right to cancel the booking made with the customer if the customer causes a disturbance or hazard to other guests or himself/herself. In this case, the customer will be responsible for all costs and payments paid will not be reimbursed.
When the booking is made, agreements are also made concerning where the cabin key can be collected from and to where it should be returned.
The cabin is at the disposal of the visitor(s) from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival to 2 p.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking.
The number of people confirmed with the booking to be accommodated shall not be exceeded.
The cabin has duvets and pillows. The cabin does not have bed linens or towels, so these need to be brought with you. If necessary, bed linens and towels can be booked in advance or when you arrive.
You must tidy the cabin before checking out. If the cabin is left untidy after checking out, Hykkilän Huvilat will charge a cleaning fee of EUR 85. The cabin has everything you need for cleaning. You will find post-checkout cleaning instructions in the cleaning cupboard and cabin folder. The cabin should be left in the same condition as it was at the beginning of the holiday. Post-checkout cleaning can also be booked during your stay.
The customer is responsible for compensating for and broken or missing items or damages caused to the property.
Bringing pets to the cabin area or inside the cabin is forbidden.
Smoking is forbidden in all our cabins.
The use of mobile homes or caravans in the cabin area is forbidden.
The use of tents in the cabin area is forbidden.
The burning of aromatic candles indoors is forbidden. The burning of other candles indoors is permitted with the candle placed on a fire-resistant base. Candles must be used safely and never left unattended.
The use of outdoor fire is forbidden on the decking (terrace). Candles must never be left unattended and the prevailing weather conditions need to be taken into account.
